So the PTFA (think it stands for parent, teachers and friends something or other..) fundraiser looms.. dress your kid in an acrylic jumper from the local supermarket for the last day of term and pay for the privilege.  It’s all in a good cause, lets face it schools are up against it these days and just like farmers have to think creatively to get in vital funds.  (Don’t start me on that one).  So if you are on the hunt for a jumper that won’t itch your little loves, be gaudy enough to satisfy them and won’t break the bank, fear not – I have done all the hard work for you and trawled through the web to bring you the best of a bad bunch ..

The three above are from Zara. The reindeer one is too small for school age kids but I thought it was so cute I included it anyway (for the little siblings)

And I did find it easier to find acceptable jumpers for the little ones ..

Another gem from eBayThe top one is from. John Lewis, the gorgeous handknits can be found on eBay and the lovely ochre coloured cardigan is from Sainsbury’s, it would look great with a navy dress.  The fairisle style one directly above is from boden, as is this one:

And whilst we are on boden for those with a bit more cash spare have you seen the offerings in Kath Kidston? Too cute:

If you have a tweenager in the house she might appreciate this:
It can be found from ‘not on the high street’.  Personally my ideal Xmas jumper would be a nice slouchy Aran knit like this vintage one I found on etsy:

And finally for the men in my life .. little man would look good in either of these from H&M:

And I bought this one for the husband last year and he hasn’t stopped wearing it (just because it’s not Christmas doesn’t seem to bother him).  For the sci fi geek in your life:

That’s not him by the way .. I did ask the real one to model for me but he’s a bit shy ☺️

Hope this round up has been of some help to you, I would love to hear your comments!!

Thanks so much for dropping by,

Merry jumper day, love Jules xx
